We left off, however, with the question of payment to a new supplier. Remember? Most, if not all, suppliers demand payment in advance, especially at the beginning.
The best solution to this type of payment would be to rely on an intermediary entity, a modern kind of “letter of credit” that safeguards and holds your money for you until you have verified the quality of the goods.
But activating this type of intermediary takes time, a lot of paperwork, and energy that you would usually devote to other activities. Time that you could invest in something else – like growing your business.
