How many times have you replied in this way when your supplier has asked you for a target price? Or how many times was the price from the previous official distribution’s price used as a target price?

Under the constant pressure of bid requests, our brokers are often unable to get a quotation without a target price or with one from an official distribution from before the crisis.  If they can, they will use platforms with uncertain bids.

Why? Working with realistic targets is the key, because otherwise you increase demand for the component, fueling inflation and driving up its price.

For this reason, it is essential to provide the supplier with a “real” target price.
